Speaker Bio: Dr. Hložek is an Associate Professor at the Dunlap Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics and the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. In Cape Town, she completed her Bachelor’s of Science Honours and Masters degrees, and later completed her PhD at Oxford University in 2011 as a South African Rhodes Scholar. Currently, Dr. Hložek uses data from telescopes around the world to study dark matter
